if I were to to a 50%er I would scratch one up myself ,I really like the 40%er that Michel is kitting.

Marcus, I have long finished the 33%er ,and also built a 30% SD ,and looking at a 40% or 50%SD. I am also working with Marcelo from Torch engines to bring them to the states.

I have earlier pix of the Decathlon,but someone had to post a new picture of PT-OTB with lettering on the side that I thought looked aewsome, so back to doing more painting.

Hello Guys,
I had to fabricate my own landing gear to allow for the 30" prop. It's great going to a field and pull out the biggest darn Decathlon that most everybody else has seen, watching a 40%...

try a Quadra Aero 75cc,I believe they are located in Canada.My 75 doesn't vibrate the plane to death

more pics coming soon,has plenty of ground clearance with 30x10 and good still with a 32x8 prop.Fly-in's have started and very buisy burning gallons of gas.pics soon

Hi Aerotow 1,I have a W.H. S.D. with a ZDZ 120cc with fuse mufflers in mine,only small holes for plug boots are required.

Happy Thanksgiving, I would take a good running 31cc RYOBI against a G-38,flies a Dynaflite S.D. @ 17lbs with good authority.I quite sure that the Stihl will power the plane quite well.

There is a 1/3 SD flying here in florida with a GT-80 in it and the plane is pulled through the air quite nicely

Marcus, the plane would have a scale outline , but as you said , it would have enlarged control surfaces for the guy who fly's agressive.the S.D. would also be strong enough to do a full speed down...

Marcus, what would you think of a 100" Super Decathlon,with fiberglass fuse, foam wings,and based around a G-62 at 20-21 lbs? I have been thinking about that,but not sure of the marketability. thanks...

the S.C. is a great weekend flyier, the crazy thing is , here in Florida there are not a whole lot of Decathlon flyiers.here is another picture, this is my son (now 3 ) putting his 89" decathlon...

marcus,here is a picture of the 1/4 scaler. it has a zdz 40 in it that turn a 22x8 with no problem . the big club just looks good on the nose

Lee, please e-mail me the proper way to get funds to you,I am not trying to make you a sales person,but you have a better cowl to make all our planes look more scale than please let us purchase one....

I did not believe that it would be that much of an issue to purchase a cowl! you tell me that it is pricey,and to realize that I have over $1200 in just electronics! I do have over 20 years...

Lee, the measurement from boot to boot is 12 inches. I am not saying in any way I do not like the W.H. Decathlon ,I would love to even build a 30% Decathlon, I have a 75cc single looking for a home ....
