Quite right. The upper edge of the openings shouldn't slope for a current model. Actually the upper corners of the cowl are also much more square on cowls with the squared up...

Here's an couple more showing the sweepback and oil cooler upsweep cut in ( I have since re-filled the oil cooler cutout as it would weaken the plug during shaping).
