Less than 45N, this particular engine gave 41N , below the test report. Year 1992. Propane fuel, a nice stainless steel gas tank on the plane. We have learnt one thing or two in 27 years!

I received my X45 last Friday. I couldn't wait to fly it so instead of doing a lengthy install on it's intended model, I decided to put it in my small Wizard and it was in the air by Sunday. The Wizard is usually powered (over powered) by a Merlin 70. The X45 pushed it around very well indeed. First flight was 7 mins and over half the 2l tank remained. The second flight was 14 mins :-) The starts are very quick and it's a very smooth running engine.

Particularly like the integration of electronics etc in the engine itself, making it a really game changing engine.

Entirely endorse your comments re this engine, Jason. Exceptionally smooth and fast starts and propelled your mini Wizard (lovely airframe) with quite amazing speed.

The XBL series have almost a split ECU, where the engine carries run information and the external carries radio and pump information. The VT80/90BL has all incorporated in the Engine. The X45 at the moment is similar to the XBL where the pump is driven from the External Hub which is fed digitally from the engine ECU, it's possible later variant X45 will have the pump driven directly from the engine ECU similarly to the VT80/90.

I will be setting my price to honor Xicoy’s release cost of 1500€ I’m having is some confusion, people see 1500 and forget this is Euro the USD conversion depending on the daily rate is $1700 to $1730ish plus tax and shipping.

I received first one in US week before last but have been traveling and haven’t had time to start yet. I did open and began mounting to test stand and plan on starting tomorrow. Really like the size and craftsmanship. I’ve flown Jets Munts for awhile and knew quality would be top notch and no disappointment there. I know people like the “other brand” but analogy would be Chevy vs Cadillac in terms of construction and electronics this one offers.

Currently not, but soon we will offer an small board with a right angle connector so that the cables will exit to the front. In same board there is an extra connector for the fuel pump, allowing the pump to be connected directly to the engine in installations where the pump should be close to the engine.
